Julia Barminova is a watercolour artist whose journey is deeply intertwined with her love for the sea. Since 2012, Julia has been working in the watercolour technique, melding classical methods with her own unique approach. Her inspiration stems from her travels to fishing villages and major port cities around the world. She has dedicated much of her work to capturing the play of light and colour on water surfaces, as well as the intricate details of ships, boats and yachts. Her most famous series, "Islands in the Stream", reflects her fascination with the sea and its environments. Now, residing in Portugal, she finds inspiration in the daily presence of the ocean, wich continually reflects her work. Julia actively promotes watercolour techniques through workshops and demonstrations around the world.Her life  and work embody a passionate dedication to both art and the sea, and her teachings reflect a journey of personal fulfillment, rooted in a lifelong love of the Ocean and a commitment to sharing the beauty of watercolour with the world.
