Watercolour is a unique medium, perfectly suited for capturing the ever-changing and multifaceted nature of seascapes. The goal my masterclass is to help you establish a deep connection between the nature of watercolour and the nature of the Sea, so that can freely express the full power and beauty of the water on paper. 

This workshop is designed for anyone who has always dreamed of learning to paint the Sea with watercolours or who wants to improve their skills in this medium within the genre of seascapes.

The Sea is always different, ranging from fierce storms to calm, peaceful waves. Each of its mood requires a specific approach and in our session, we will throughly explore how to use watercolour techniques to unlock the potential of this medium for depicting any type of water – whether it's the crashing ocean waves, serene anchorages, or the gentle rhythm of the surf lapping against the shore.

In the workshop, you will learn how to create the illusion of depth and movement in water. We will study how to convey the dynamics of waves, the texture of foam and the transparency of still waters, using the right techniques for each scene.
